The Computer Training Bridge offers free, high-quality computer and internet classes to help residents build the skills they need for work, school, and daily life. Whether you’re just getting started, brushing up on your knowledge, or exploring advanced tools, the program provides hands-on training in a welcoming, supportive environment.

Classes are held at public libraries, WinstonNet labs, recreation centers, and community technology centers, making it easy to find a convenient location. With guidance from knowledgeable instructors and volunteer computer coaches, participants gain the confidence and capability to connect with opportunities, stay in touch with family and friends, and navigate an increasingly digital world.
The Computer Training Bridge is open to any Forsyth County resident who wants to improve their computer and internet skills, with a special focus on serving underserved citizens who need basic, high-quality computer literacy training.

The Computer Training Bridge expands access to digital skills by offering free, high-quality computer and internet classes in local libraries, WinstonNet labs, recreation centers, and community technology centers. Each year, hundreds of residents participate in Computer Training Bridge classes ranging from basic computer use to specialized workshops on email, internet safety, résumé building, and more. With support from the State Library of North Carolina, Forsyth Technical Community College, and dedicated volunteers, the program continues to grow, reaching more people and adding new topics to meet evolving community needs.
Computer Training Bridge is an essential part of WinstonNet’s mission to close the digital divide. By delivering instruction in convenient, familiar community spaces, the program ensures that residents have both the skills and the confidence to participate fully in today’s connected world, strengthening opportunities for individuals and the county as a whole.
